Service
Jamieson attended the United States Naval Academy, earning a bachelor's degree in political science and becoming a distinguished dual-sport athlete. He was a seven-time All-American across lacrosse and squash, received the 1994 Thompson Trophy Cup, and was inducted into the Naval Academy Athletic Hall of Fame.
He went on to serve eleven years in the Marine Corps, training as an aviator and serving as an F/A-18 Hornet fighter pilot and Air Combat Tactics Instructor, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He concluded his service in 2005 with the rank of Major.
Advocacy
Jamieson founded and leads nssX, the National Support Service Exchange, which helps veterans, active-duty personnel, first responders, and their families navigate benefits, disability-support pathways, toxic-exposure concerns, and litigation-related resources. Much of that work centers on Marines and families affected by the contaminated-water crisis at Camp Lejeune.
He reports having helped more than 3,000 veteran families pursue compensation, benefits, and support related to toxic exposure and faulty products. His organizations help people understand and navigate the pathways available to them; they do not guarantee legal, medical, or financial outcomes.
He also founded the WARRIORUP Foundation, which is developing veteran-centered infrastructure and research support for recovery from post-traumatic stress, and co-founded Regen Revive.
Beyond the uniform
Jamieson's career includes international humanitarian work. He helped lead renewable water-purification deployments after the 2010 Haiti earthquake, work recognized in 2012 by the Ecumenical Order of the Knights of Malta.
He grew up in Coventryville, Pennsylvania, in the country surrounding Valley Forge, and traces his family heritage to the DeHaven line. He frames his present-day work on behalf of military families as a continuation of that legacy's themes: service, sacrifice, and accountability. He is married to his flight-school sweetheart, a father of three, and a grandfather.
