THE FUTURE HOME OF ALVARA
Regenerative land held in stewardship, and the home we are building toward. A pollinator sanctuary. A space to reconnect to the hum of nature. For deep community and relationship with the land.
THE MODEL AND THE FUTURE HOME
ALVARA Sanctuary is the picture we work from. One piece of land where the hives, the gardens, the kitchen, the gatherings, and the people who tend it all share the same ground.
That work does not wait on land of our own. Through Stewards of the Hive we place hives, plant pollinator habitat, build hive houses, and hold gatherings on land that partners already steward. Each of those Stewardship Sites is some expression of the Sanctuary, and each one brings the whole picture closer.

Jared Angaza and Ty Clark will live on the land as resident stewards, caring for the hives, the habitat, and the gatherings day to day. Care for a place like this is woven into every day, not delegated from a distance.
ALVARA works at the level of the human nervous system.
Stewards of the Hive works at the level of the planetary nervous system.
The bees are the bridge, the living proof that inner coherence and outer coherence are not separate projects.
They are one.
HOW WE GET THERE
The Stewardship Council guides how ALVARA enters into relationship with land, whether that is a partner's property, shared land, or our own. It is made up of stewards, beekeepers, Indigenous wisdom carriers, and people with land and conservation experience.

POLLINATOR HABITAT
At the center of the Sanctuary is a commitment to the bees. We are building a pollinator habitat designed to house the bee colonies that will produce the raw honey at the foundation of MycoNectar™ and future products.
Working with apiculture and permaculture experts, we plant the forage first. Native plantings and diverse pollinator habitat go in before the hives scale, and the colonies are managed with reciprocity rather than extraction. This is the same practice we bring to every Stewardship Site, and it is where veterans and first responders in our recovery programs learn and practice hive stewardship.
Over time, we will open the Sanctuary to other honey companies, beekeepers, and land-based businesses who want to learn how to bring regenerative bee stewardship into their own operations.
THE KITCHEN & R&D LAB
At the heart of the Sanctuary is a single hexagonal building: seven rooms around a shared center, drawn from the shape the bees have been building for a hundred and thirty million years. Inside it, our apothecary and R&D kitchen, where Ty Clark develops new formulations, prepares ingredients, and refines the craft.
We will grow select herbs and botanicals on the property, feeding directly into current products and future work so the land becomes part of the supply chain. MycoNectar™ itself is produced by our manufacturing partner, and every batch is verified by third-party laboratories.
The building is designed to be built at low cost and low impact, using natural building methods from our partners. Red Earth Movement's aircrete construction is the approach we are drawn to: strong, breathable, inexpensive, and buildable by the community that will use it.
COMMUNITY & RETREATS
ALVARA Sanctuary will be a gathering place for our community, our partners, and the people we serve. We will host vitality retreats, educational workshops with our stewardship partners, corporate wellness experiences, and community events on the land. We plan to film ALVARA content here: the land will be our studio.
Veteran and first-responder organizations are welcome to gather here for their own events, alongside the recovery programs we run with our partners.
A HAVEN FOR THOSE WHO SERVED
Veterans, active duty military, and first responders come to this land for recovery and resilience programs led by our Indigenous partner organizations, for training in beekeeping and regenerative agriculture, for community, and over time for work on the land itself. It happens on Stewardship Sites now, and at the Sanctuary when it is home.
Their organizations are encouraged to host their own gatherings on the land. Our intent is that first responders across the region come to see this place as their haven.
REGENERATIVE BY DESIGN
We intend to restore this land. Working with permaculture specialists and our stewardship partners, we will develop the Sanctuary as a regenerative site, improving soil health, establishing and enhancing native habitat, increasing biodiversity, and creating systems that give back more than they take.
The whole property is designed as a closed loop: greywater recycled from every facility, composting toilets, a community composting area open to our neighbors, and near-zero waste from production and living. Fire mitigation is built into the land plan from day one, and we intend to be the example for how a property in this region cares for itself and its community.
The goal is to make the land healthier each year than the year before. This is what symbiosis looks like in practice.

AN INVITATION
The Sanctuary is the picture. Stewardship Sites are how we get there, and they are happening now, on land held by partners who want something living on it: hives, pollinator habitat, gardens, gatherings, and programs that serve their community.
