Stewardship at ALVARA
Stewardship at ALVARA
Stewards of the Hive brings hives, pollinator habitat, and gatherings onto land held by our partners. Every jar of MycoNectar supports the work.
The model and the future home
ALVARA Sanctuary is the picture we work from. One piece of land where the hives, the gardens, the kitchen, the gatherings, and the people who tend it all share the same ground.
That work does not wait on land of our own. Through Stewards of the Hive we place hives, plant pollinator habitat, build hive houses, and hold gatherings on land that partners already steward. Each of those Stewardship Sites is some expression of the Sanctuary, and each one brings the whole picture closer.
