Ty Clark

Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer
The formulator behind MycoNectar and the originator of Symbiotic Stacking. Two decades spent studying how traditional preparations and modern formulation science inform each other.
Ty is the reason MycoNectar is a formulation rather than a stack. Every compound in the jar earns its place by deepening the work of another compound, the principle ALVARA calls Symbiotic Stacking.
How he formulates
Ty's approach begins from a simple premise: the body works in order. Steady the foundation first, and everything downstream has something to build on. That conviction is why ALVARA works upstream at the nervous system rather than chasing individual symptoms, and why the formulation is built as one composition instead of a list of trending ingredients.
He has spent over two decades studying how ancestral preparations were actually made, what they were made from, and why particular combinations recur across unrelated traditions. That study sits alongside contemporary sourcing, potency testing, and formulation practice.
Training and lineage
Ty's path began with a deep connection to the natural world in his youth, which led to years of immersion in Native American traditions, including Lakota sweat lodges, teepee ceremonies, vision quests, and pilgrimages to sacred sites. His contemplative training includes Vajrayana, Zen, and Dzogchen, with thousands of hours of meditation practice and dedicated study at Chagdud Gonpa Rigdzin Ling.
His formal certifications span bodywork, kinesiology, and energy practice: Kundalini Teacher Training (Kundalini Research Institute, 2014), Rebirthing Breathwork with Leonard Orr (2013), Quantum-Touch (2009), Cellular Memory Release (2008), Reconnective Healing with Dr. Eric Pearl (2007), Certified Alphabioticist (2007), Reiki Master, Usui path (2006), Touch for Health Kinesiology (2006), Certified Edgu instructor (2006), Level 4 Massage Therapist (2005), and Oncology Massage Certification through UC Davis (2005).
These are Ty's personal credentials and training history. They describe his own practice and are not claims about what MycoNectar does. MycoNectar is a dietary supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
At ALVARA
Ty leads formulation and product. He is also a co-founder and Chief Program Officer of Passage, where he designs immersive retreats and group experiences. His work across both companies returns to the same idea: build the container carefully, and let people arrive into it.
We attune. We do not hack. A body is an ecosystem to tend, rather than a machine to override.
