Jared's work sits at the intersection of behavioral science, Indigenous epistemology, and institutional systems design. At ALVARA he holds the brand's language and stewards the land at ALVARA Sanctuary.

The work behind the work

Jared specializes in organizing large-scale research, building research teams, and turning complex data into frameworks people can actually use. In Kenya he led a nationwide dairy industry audit whose findings improved outcomes for corporations and smallholder farmers alike. He created the research framework for USAID's first micro-loan banking model, which became the template for their programs across the developing world. He co-authored women's rights legislation in Rwanda that was ratified into law and remains in effect.

He has consulted for USAID, Freedom House, Human Rights Watch, International Justice Mission, Lawyers Without Borders, DAI, Technoserve, the United Nations, and the governments of the United States, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Kenya.

Indigenous intelligence and modern systems

His current focus is integrating Indigenous intelligence into contemporary systems, particularly AI ethics and healthcare education. In January 2025 he joined MIT Critical Data as a speaker and workshop facilitator for "AI as a Catalyst: Reimagining Medical Education and Workforce Development," presenting on the panel "Weaving Ways of Knowing: Indigenous, Ancestral, and Religious Wisdom and Medical Education."

He is the founder of Passage Collective, where he develops ethical certification frameworks that translate Indigenous values into operational standards for AI, economic systems, and institutional governance. He is also conducting independent research mapping 65,000 years of human migration patterns against Indigenous wisdom traditions.

Elsewhere

He designed the first Citizen Astronaut Training Program for Space for Humanity in collaboration with Yale University and Paragon Performance, training two Blue Origin astronauts in cognitive optimization and experience integration. He co-wrote Wisdom Meets Passion with New York Times bestselling author Dan Miller, and has taught and spoken at MIT, Vanderbilt, Belmont, Bradley University, The DO Lectures, Leaders Quest, Human Tech Week, and the Humans to Mars Summit.

He is a devoted single father of four. In his words, they are his greatest contribution to a more harmonious world, and his greatest teachers.
